Snorkeling and Zipling

While in Mexico we went snorkeling, zipling, and drove some ATV's!!  Over the few times I have been snorkeling I have realized that disposable waterproof cameras are useless!  Out of 20 pictures only these three really have anything in them.  Randy had the camera most of the time so maybe it was a user error! :)

Zipling was a blast! I'd love to do it again sometime!! Maybe in Costa Rica or Belize next time!! ;)

The ATV's were fun too!  They went really fast and we were the only ones doing this part so the guide was doing some crazy stuff.  Randy decided he didn't need the accidental damage insurance that was $10 so I was pretty nervous everytime we hit a big bump or I saw a big rock in the road.  I just knew Randy was gonna break something.  Thankfully our ride made it back without any damage!

After the ATV adventure we were dirty from all the dust!  They guide took us to a cenote in the Mexican jungle to swim.  A thunderstorm interupted the fun.  After a loud clap of thunder that echoed and lasted for what seemed like forever the cenote was cleared very quickly!  I had just gotten out and it was funny to see everyone immediately head for the steps!

Hollywood Camp

Our really good friends, the Jones' invited us to go to Hollywood Camp for a weekend and we of course excepted because Hollywood Camp is soooo much fun!  Our friend is a pilot for an individual that owns this hunting and fishing camp in Falfurrias Texas.  The ranch is huge and this individual allows the pilots to bring family/friends to the camp for some relaxation!  They have a gameroom, a pool, multiple ponds, clay shooting, safari rides, and a really great chef!!  The kids enjoyed every minute, the food was excellent and the company wasn't bad either!

Alex threw up on the way home (in the car...and it was everywhere...and we still had an hour to go) and several from each family ended up the strep throat (including me!).  The boys and Randy didn't get it but I'm not sure what made Alex throw up.  He never had fever over 99 and never complained of his throat hurting.  It is a mystery!

Texas Aggie Baseball vs. Texas Tech

We decided to plan a trip to Bluebell Park at Olsen Field to watch the Aggies beat Texas Tech. What we didn't know was that it would be really hot!!  We lasted till the 4th inning and then called it a day.

Chris, JoAnna, Josie and Izzy came up from Magnolia to go to the game with us!

Dogwood Cove Camping Trip

In April we took a trip to the church's lake property at Lake Limestone to have a little campout!  We camped in a tent but enjoyed to nice kichen/bathroom/shower areas that are air conditioned!
