Franklin Drive Thru Safari Park

We took a trip out to the Franklin Safari Park and it was so much fun!!  I laughed so hard at the animals sticking their heads in our car windows!  Alex did not like the animals sticking their heads in the car...he ended up back in his seat with the windows up!

The petting zoo area was fun too and Alex actually liked that part a tad bit more than the drive thru part!

Meet Randy's new best friend...Mr. Camel!

Outdoor outings!!

Lick Creek Park here in College Station has some awesome nature/walking trails.  The boys had a great time and we walked about 3 miles!

Picnic at Research Park!  Love my goofy boys!

Aggie Events

The student athletes of Texas A&M put together this awesome event every year and we decided to go!  They open Kyle Field up for families and students to hang out and at dark they show a movie on the big screen.  There were booths set up around the track with basketball hoop contests and football tosses but my boys just enjoyed running!!  They also had some inexpensive concessions and by the time the movie started Kyle Field was about 1/2 full of blankets and people ready to watch the show!!

Trey Williams and Alex Caruso were nice enough to take pictures with the boys!  (Notice the guy in the background...I think he is lost) :)

In the spring the Aggie football team plays their annual Maroon and White game!  We went to show our support for the team and see what we had to look forward to in the Fall!!

Easter

Here the boys are before leaving for church!  Don't they just look so handsome in their little ties?!?!

Easter egg hunting with cousins at Nana and Papa's house!  It was raining so we hunted inside!

Family Times

We had a busy March with family occasions.  First a wedding then a funeral.  My cousin Luke married Kelsey!  And my Papa Ed passed away.  I was a bad person and didn't get a single picture at the beautiful wedding...but I did take some at the rehearsal dinner.  It was so much fun!  Alex and Tyler loved the slide and hanging out with cousins!

Here are the great grandkids all dressed up after the funeral!

And all the family together...minus Don and Chris who were MIA!

Bluebonnets and Bikes

In March Alex really started wanting to try riding his bike without training wheels.  So we took them off and went to the park and Randy ran all over the park trying to help Alex ride without training wheels.  Alex picked it up pretty fast!  He likes the big open space but not so much the sidewalk. He says it makes him nervous when the path is too small!

Bluebonnet pictures in Texas are a must do.  It is tricky taking these two pictures anytime but especially when they are in a goofy mood and just being silly!  This is what we came away with this year!
