Alex's new haircut!

Randy gave Alex another haircut the other day! He is getting pretty good at it! Around the ears are a little tricky but I think it looks good! Alex's hair grows so fast I'm sure Randy will get lots of practice! The only thing I hate about it is he loses all those curls everytime!

Dinner at Joe's Crab Shack!

We went and met Alex's birth family for dinner over the holidays and had a great time. Here are a couple pictures from our dinner!

18 month check-up...just a month late!

Alex's 18 month check-up went well today. He is on the small side but everything looks proportional so that is good. He weighed 21 lbs. which is in the 3% and his height was 5%. He got two shots and cried a little but did good overall. Here are some pics of Alex entertaining himself while we waited in the room for the nurse to give the shots.

Alex pushed the chair all over the room... He tore the paper on the table to shreds...
and then threw it all over the place...
but it kept him busy and happy!!

He actually read a book, ate a snack, and played with his car while we waited too. It took the nurse a while but that was ok because I thought his appt was at 9:30 and before we went to get in the car at 9:10 I looked at the appt card to make sure I knew the floor that the office was on and the card said his appt was at 9am (as did my calendar!) Anyways...I called the office and they said it was fine to just go ahead and come on in. I'm glad they were flexible but I still felt bad, since at my work we sometimes roll our eyes (in our head of course) at people who are late and have excuses like that!!

I also had an appointment at the Dr. today and all is looking good with baby Biddlecome! The heart rate continues to be 150 bpm! I had to reschedule the gender ultrasound, which was ok with me because I got to move it up. We go on Jan. 20th to find out if this little one is a girl or a boy!!

Christmas #2 in Arlington!

In Arlington we got to see all my cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. We had only been there maybe an hour and Alex had already broken a snowglobe and Bucky had taken a dip in the pool...and it was cold. Randy took Bucky in the front yard (for some reason) to dry him off and Bucky ran off down the road...and again remember it is cold and he is wet!! When we got him back he had ice on his beard...should have gotten a picture but didn't...Oh well. Here are some pictures that I did get from our time in Arlington!

Christmas time!

We had a great Christmas this year. Watching Alex was lots of fun and getting to see family was fun too. We spent Christmas with my parents at their house and then went to Arlington to see my Mom's side of the family on the 26th. On the 29th Alex and I drove with my parents to Midland to see my Dad's side of the family. Here are some pictures from Christmas at my parents house!
