Some friends of ours from church have a pond in their backyard that is stocked with Catfish. They allowed us to come over on Saturday and fish. We had a great time. We were only there for a few hours and caught 14 keepers! Here are some pictures of our fishing day!!

Here are the lovely fish we caught!!

Alex even enjoyed the fishing!!

Bridal shower and Christmas Tree Lighting!

A couple of weekends ago my Mom, Sister, Alex and I went to a bridal shower for my cousin Andy's fiance, Kristen. They got lots of pretty stuff and I can't wait for the wedding in less than a month. I was so mad that I forgot my camera so I have no pictures of the trip :(

Last week we went with JoAnna and Josie to the lighting of the Christmas tree over in Market Street. The tree is huge and very pretty. Alex loved looking at all the lights!

Alex's new trick!!

Sorry for posting so many updates in one day...but I just got this great video of Alex's new trick. Alex loves his new trick and will sit and do it for a long time. Here it is! Hope you all enjoy!

Nice, I know, right!! You can see the spit flying!

5 month supervision visit!

This past Friday we had our 5 month supervision visit with Sara from New Life. She came and visited with us at our house. This was the last visit before we finalize the adoption. We have loved working with New Life (the adoption agency) and with Amanda (Alex's birthmother). We could not have asked for a better birth family and we can't wait to see them all again in the next month or so. We have been communication through letters but it will be so fun to see them with Alex. Randy and I pray that we never lose touch with them because I'm sure Alex will have many questions that only they will be able to answer. We love them and are so thankful for them!

Alex is 5 months old!

Alex is 5 months old today! He has grown so much and it has been so fun to see him change over the past 5 months. He now shreeks alot...he thinks it is funny! He also has been smiling alot over the last month or so. He rolls over...when he wants to and will grab for toys...and hair!! He is such a sweet baby and we have been so blessed by him! We can't wait to see what he will be doing next month!
Today we weighed Alex on the Wii and he weighed 16.2 lbs.

Road Trip

This past weekend my sister, my mom and I took Alex on a road trip. We saw Mimi and Papa Ed(my grandparents), my aunt Jane, my uncle Don, cousins (Becky, Mary, Libby) and my great aunt Helen while we were gone. We had a great time seeing all the family and Alex did really well. He slept the entire way to their house and about half the way home. He never really cried though...just fussed for about 5 minutes on the way home before falling asleep. Here are some pictures of our trip!
