Tyler was born on Thursday, June 3rd at 1:38pm. He weighed 6lbs, 11oz and was 20 inches long. We arrived at the hospital at 9am to be induced, had my epidural by 11am (I wasn't interested in feeling any real bad pain!). Dr. came in at 12:30 and said Tyler was not tolerating the contractions well and his heart rate was falling lower than they would like to see after every contraction. Dr. thought it might be a placenta or chord issue and strongly suggested doing a C-section (since I still had a long way to go and he was already having trouble). So...within an hour Tyler was born via C-section. I was amazed at how quick everything happened and how fast the C-section went.
