This week!

This week has felt like a busy week! I guess we really have not done much...it has just seemed long. On Tuesday we went to see Maggie play volleyball at the high school. Her team swept the other team and it was fun to watch. Alex liked watching too...till he fell asleep in my lap. He was sitting in my lap watching all that was going on and next thing I new he was very still and quiet. He is usually not very still or quiet. He likes to kick and move his arms alot and make sqeeling noises. A man sitting next to us said..."Wow...what a great baby! He puts himself to sleep without a fuss!" He is a great baby...we are so blessed!

On Thursday we went and got Alex a new toy, an exersaucer. Brandi, the lady that keeps him on Tuesday-Thursday had one at her house this week and when I would pick Alex up he seemed to really love it...so we got one and he does love it. Thursday night my parents kept Alex so Randy and I could go eat with Julie and Matt. Tonight we have the Fall Festival at church which should be lots of fun!!

Here are some pics of Alex and his new toy!!

Alex's Dedication

This morning at church we had a baby dedication! Alex had lots of people come to see him be dedicated to the Lord. Randy's brother, James, and his family came. Aunt Kat and Grandma Yolanda were there too. My Mom (Nana), Dad (Papa), brother, sister and brother-in-law were all there aswell. After church we had lunch at our house and then had birthday cake for my Mom's birthday which is today. After lunch Alex took a long nap!

Here are some pictures of our morning.

Rain, Rain and Lots of Rain!

Earlier this week it rained a ton at our house within a short amount of time. I think our backyard may have a draining problem...what do you think?

I think storm debris in the draining system had everything blocked up. Thankfully, all the water was gone two hours after the rain stopped.

Homecoming!

Friday night we went to the homecoming game! It was lots of fun! Laura, one of the youth from the the church, was on the junior homecoming court. Here are some pictures from our time at the game.

Picture Time!!

Today we went and got some pictures made at Portrait Innovations. They did a great job and Alex was great up untill we put him in the dinosaur costume. I guess he doesn't really want to be a dinosaur for halloween. :) We stopped and ate at Freebirds on our way home and have been watching college football and doing laundry this afternoon. We were offered tickets to the Aggie game by two different people and turned them down...it turned out to be a better than expected game but the Aggies still lost...maybe next week they will pull out a win against Iowa State! It has been a relaxing day! Here are some of the pictures from this morning!

Rolling Over

Alex rolled over for the first time about three weeks ago but had not done it since then...untill tonight. He rolled over again and again tonight. It was so funny to watch him. Every time we put him on his stomach he rolled over to his back in just a few minutes. I got a video of him and his latest trick!

Alex loves to swing but recently he has started eating the headrest...
Alex also likes to sleep in his swing!!
Just hanging out in his plaid shorts...aren't they cute!
Alex has started holding his own bottle (when he wants to of course), but he does pretty good.
After church on Sunday's Alex like to take a long nap!
Look at those big eyes! I just love them!
Here he is again just enjoying his swing!

Friday night football!

Friday night we went to a local high school football game. Alex loved watching all the people, especially his favorite cheerleader, Lindsey!

Next Friday we have another football game...and this time it is homecoming. It should be fun too!! I'll post pictures!!

He's almost got it...

Alex got a new cup from his Aunt Kat. He likes it alot and almost has it figured out...almost!

4 Months Old

Today Alex is four months old! To celebrate his four month birthday we went to the Dr. and got two shots. Alex did great and I was really glad that they were able to combine a few of them this time. Last time he had to get poked five times. After the Dr. appointment we went shopping for a halloween costume. We met our friends JoAnna and Josie. Josie wants to be Tigger, she loves Winnie the Pooh! Josie is so cute! She is going to be a big sister in March and today she told me that she wants a little brother just like Alex. She loves him and always wants to take care of him. She is just so sweet and will be a great big sister to a little brother or sister.

Alex can really get that double chin showing sometimes!!

Today was also special because Randy's Mom is in town from Arizona and she got to spend the day with us. Yolanda will be here in Texas untill January so Alex will get to spend lots of time with Grandma Yolanda.

Here are the stats from our Dr. visit today:

Height/Length - 25 in. (50%)

Weight - 14 lbs 13.2 oz (50%)

Head Circumference - 16 in. (10-25%)

We are so blessed to have such a happy, healthy baby!
