Aggies Upset Alabama

Randy and I recently took a last minute trip to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to watch the Fighting Texas Aggie's take on the #1 ranked University of Alabama.  The Aggies shocked the world of college football (but not us!!) and beat the Crimson Tide 29-24.

 

 

 QB #2 Johnny Manziel is amazing! Seriously how does he move on his feet like that and still keep his head up continuing to look for open receivers?? Amazes me!

New Job and Moving!

Randy recently resigned from his position at FBC Bryan as the youth minister and accepted a position with a company called Kennedy Fabrications in Splendora, Texas as a finance manager.  Randy started his new job on Oct. 15th and our house is on the market (so if your looking let me know!)  When the house sales we will be relocating.  We will miss Bryan/College Station and the great people we have had the opportunity to get to know here. Pray for us as this is big change for Randy and our family!  More to come....

Houston Zoo!

 

While Randy was competing in The Tough Mudder Race in Austin we decided to head to The Houston Zoo! It is one of my favorite places to visit, especially when cousins are involved!

(Alex chose to go to the lake with Nana and Papa...and he had a blast as always!)

 

Tyler got a big boy bed!!

Tyler got a big boy bed!  He loves it!  Although we have had to turn the bed so it is along the wall and put rails on the other side so the he doesn't fall out!  It actually has a bunk part that goes with it...we just haven't gotten around to putting that part up yet!

Gameday came to College Station for our first SEC home game!  It was pretty exciting here in town!

Galveston

In August we took a trip down to Galveston for a long weekend!  We had fun collecting shells on the beach, going to the aquarium and rainforest...and Nana and Papa even came down and stayed a night which was extra special!

 

 

Funny story about this little monkey above:  Alex was walking along the path and something dripped on him so he stood there with his hand under whatever was dripping (wouldn't you?).  I looked up to find this little guy sitting in the tree above...peeing...on Alex's hand.  Thank goodness we had wipes in our bag and quickly found a bathroom to wash our little hands!!

Tyler is 2 and Alex is 4!!

On June 3rd Tyler turned 2 years old.  He is growing up so fast!  I can't believe it has already been two years since he joined our family!  He is such a blessing!  We love you very much Tyler!

Alex turned 4 years old on June 8th!  My little man is getting so old!  It amazes me what he learns each day!  Alex is a huge blessing to us!  We love you very much Alex!

We took a trip to the circus with some friends and family to celebrate the boys birthdays! 

 

Then we came home and jumped in the jump house...

 swam in the pool...

 

and ate popcorn!!

 

 

We wore hats and ate cake too!!
