The Zoo

We went to the zoo last week with some friends from Magnolia. We had lots of fun! The Zoo was not crowded at all and weather turned out to be nice and cool! Thanks Jones family for coming with us...can't wait to do it again (but not during Spring Break!)! Here are LOTS of pictures of our fun!!

Watching Alex in the petting zoo made me laugh...he was hugging goats and Randy said he even kissed one on the back...yuck...but he sure had fun!

Pictures with Santa!

Alex surprised me this year and didn't shed one tear on Santa's lap. When we got there a school group was taking pictures with Santa and Alex got to watch all the kids jump up in Santa's lap and smile for the picture. When it was our turn Alex was a little hesistant but warmed up to Santa quickly and when it was time to go he didn't want to get off Santa's lap!



Our printer/scanner is acting up so I just took a picture of the picture...Enjoy!

Tyler is 6 months old!

Tyler turned 6 months old on December 3rd! He has been rolling over both ways for some time now and has mastered the army crawl so he can get just about anywhere he wants! He eats well and is a happy the large majority of the time! I have faith that someday he will sleep through the night...but for now he still gets up once...which is much better than the 2-3 times a night he was doing last month!

Tyler loves his Johnny Jump Up! (chewing on the straps is a top favorite...actually chewing on anything has become a favorite!)

Tyler's 6 month check-up stats:

weight: 17 lbs 10 oz (75 %)

length: 26 3/4 inches (50 %)

I don't remember his head circumference but it was in the 95th %, Dr said he has a big brain :)

Camping!!

We recently went camping with a group from our church. The church has some property on Lake Limestone so that is where we decided to go for this camping adventure. We only stayed one night (which was enough). The weather was great when we first got there. After just a few hours of being there a storm hit and it rained pretty good...and then got cold and windy. Alex did great though and had a blast getting dirty!! Enjoy the pictures from our first family camping trip...(minus Tyler...he stayed with my parents...next year we will take him)!

Alex loves to color...and found a PERMANENT marker in the junk drawer in the kitchen...thankfully it wasn't as permanent as I thought!!

Above is what Tyler doest not do well at night. He still is waking up 2-3 times a night on most nights. There are rare occasions when he only gets up once but we are hoping well see more of the above between the hours of 10pm and 7am soon!!

Tyler is 5 months old!!

Tyler turned 5 months old on Nov 3rd! He is such a happy baby and has really started to enjoy watching Alex play. He especially likes it when Alex pretends to be a frog. :)

trick or treating

First time in about 8 years that we have been able to hand out candy at house for Trick or Treaters. It was fun. We sat outside and had LOTS of trick or treaters come by.
