a day at the lake

Today Alex and I went to the lake for the first time this summer. It was really hot but we had lots of fun splashing in the water!!

After going on a walk with Julie and Taylor we went back to Julie's house and hung out for a while. I was taking some pictures of Alex and realized I had these three of him.

Alex is getting so big and I can't believe he will be one year old in just about two weeks. He makes life interesting and is learning so much each day!!

Alex is 11 months old!

Here are some pictures I took of Alex at 11 months old. I can't believe only one more month and Alex will be 1 year old. His upper two front teeth have started to come in along with the lower two and the major drooling has begun! Wiping it is like fighting a losing battle so just look past the drool and you will find the sweetest, happiest little guy ever!!

Aggie Baseball

We drove up to College Station on Friday afternoon to watch the Aggies play baseball. We ended up losing to the Longhorns but it was still fun.

Alex clapped alot during the game, although while we were there the Aggies didn't do a whole lot to clap about. We left the game early, come to find out, the game went into extra innings after we left.

Alex has gotten really fast at crawling. He really has no desire to stand or pull-up on the furniture. Here he is on the go!!

My Aunt, Uncle and cousins (Chance and Reagan) came to visit on their way home from vacation. Here Alex is clapping with Chance! Alex loves to clap...it is like he has rediscovered his hands!?!
